Donations

Michael Robinson 25th May 2017

Hey buddy. It might seem like a bit of an odd one, but I wanted to make a donation today because I've just received my first paycheque as a 'real person' and my last one from Her Majesty. It didn't seem right to accept them both and not share any with your lifeboats. I would not be the man I am today without your friendship and guidance and there's no way I'd have made it through my Army life or found the clarity of vision and purpose to seek a new challenge without you mate. So hopefully this goes some way to letting you share in this with me. Claudia's christening was a couple of weeks ago. It was a lovely day but we all felt the massive gap where you should have been. Si said some beautiful words, but it was still hard for everyone. Sal was on top form as hostess, your brother was loving the being 'Lord of Manor' and Angie was, as always, on impeccable form; she will be an incredible aunt and godmother to Claudia and instil all those characteristics and traits of which you were so proud. Lally and I got Claudia some bubbly, thinking you'd probably approve of the sentiment. There's a bottle in there from you, as I know you'd definitely spoil her. We miss you mate.
